Justin – Guitar
My name is Justin MacDonald. Although I was born in the sprawling, metropolitan oasis of Spokane, Washington, I call home Bayview, Idaho; a quaint little town nestled in mountains at the south end of Lake Pend O’reille. I was born a drummer — which I tried to express to my parents — but somehow ended up with a guitar in my hands at age seven. Eyes full of tears I sat through my first lesson… the same feeling I get every time I so much as see a guitar.
At an early age I was performing with my teachers’ bands around town, getting my first taste of the wholesome people and activities in the bar scene. I performed regularly throughout my formative years, and soon after high school began playing with the hottest country ticket ’round those parts: The Kelly Hughes Band. That lasted a few years until I decided to continue being edgukated, which led me to the University of Idaho in the Glorious Granola Valley, just North of Lewiston and East of Washington State University, where, if the winds are just right, the scent of Busch Light wafts over the hills and settles in the dell.
I met Eclectic Approach, graduated and, much the wiser, moved to Seattle where I currently reside.
Life is short, as are some people. I live by those words and hope you do as well!
