Jowed – Vocals

My name is Jowed. The direct Arabic translation means horse jockey or as my dad says “the one who ride and train the horse”. Truth be told, I’m not that into horse Jockeying.  I am into music though and I started my musical path at the age of thirteen in my mom’s garage in the Pacific Northwest. As the youngest of four children, I was influenced by the wide variety of hip hop music my older brother was listening to at the time – mixed with the classic high school musicals my sisters performed in.  I started to play around with different styles of music – ranging from one end of the spectrum to the other – until I began to develop what I believe is my own sound. I find music to be one of the most enjoyable ways to express one’s self and will continue to pursue it as long as my vocal chords are able.
