Chris – Drums

Hey there. My name is Chris. I moved to Seattle from Phoenix in August of 2011, and it was the best choice ever.

I am a drummer, yes by choice. I began playing drums around age 9 when a family friend stored their drums at my parents’ house. I found them, set them up in some obscure fashion that I’m sure I could never replicate to this day, and the rest, as they say, is history. I learned every Rush and Metallica song (by ear) that I could get my hands on, then began searching for more. I joined my school band in 5th grade and stuck with it all the way through high school, all the while performing with countless local bands. Then I marched in drum corps and winter drumlines, and have continued to teach these activities since aging out.

But my craving for new music may never be completely fulfilled. To this day, I still learn new music and love it!! I have played just about every genre of music I can think of, but more than anything, I love to just sit back and lay down a groove. And luckily, playing with Eclectic Approach allows me to do exactly that.
